About Our Founder
Pediatric and Adult Therapy Associates, Inc., was founded by Jennifer Bailey, MA, CCC/SLP. Ms. Bailey received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics at the University of Kentucky in 1993, then went on to earn a Masters of Arts (MA) degree at the University of Colorado in Linguistics, with an emphasis on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). During this time, she worked as an Instructional Assistant in ESL university writing courses. Ms. Bailey then went on to earn a second MA in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Colorado, emphasizing Accent Modification Training, phonological disorders, fluency/stuttering disorders, and voice disorders. A former speech/language pathologist at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Lexington, KY, Ms. Bailey currently works with bilingual children through the Kentucky First Steps Early Intervention Program, in addition to conducting a private practice in Corporate Speech Pathology.
